The City of Carlsbad is
a unique coastal community located 35 miles north of the City of San Diego
surrounded by mountains, lagoons and the Pacific Ocean. "LEGOLAND"
is just a few miles from our beach cottage. Everything San Diego has to
offer, including the San Diego Zoo, the Wild Animal Park, Seaworld, and Petco
Park, is just a short freeway drive away.
Carlsbad is an upscale town with a quaint "Village" area loaded
with shops and restaurants, all within walking distance of the beach
cottage. Carlsbad offers a more 'mature' environment that the older San
Diego beach towns (Mission Beach, Pacific Beach, etc.).
Besides the obvious beach and water recreation, there are many nearby
attractions. The close proximity of this cottage to the Village area of
Carlsbad allows guests to walk to dozens of restaurants, pubs, and shops all
within a few blocks of the cottage! Walk to dinner, then take a stroll
along the beach.
